Terms and privacy

Terms of use

These terms explain how to use AGBE and how we handle your data. By playing, as a guest or with an account, you accept them.

Last updated: October 26, 2026

1. The game

AGBE is a free life simulation game set in Togo, in Lomé. It is played in a browser or as an installed app (phone, tablet, computer).

These terms apply to anyone who uses AGBE, as a guest or with an account.

2. Publisher

For any question about AGBE, contact us by e-mail:

the address shown at the bottom of the home page

3. Access to the game and account

AGBE is for adults only: your date of birth is asked to check it.

You can play as a guest, without an account, then create your account to keep your game. An account is created with an e-mail address and a phone number, or with Google.

You are responsible for your account: keep your password secret and never give it to anyone, not even someone claiming to be the AGBE team. Two-factor authentication is available in Settings.

4. In-game money and purchases

The game’s FCFA, coins and goods are virtual: they have no real value and cannot be withdrawn, exchanged or converted into real money.

Some content (coins, Premium perks) can be bought with real money through a payment operator. The price is shown before you pay, and the purchase is credited once the operator confirms the payment. Your payment details are handled by the operator: AGBE does not receive or keep them.

Virtual content that has been bought and used is not refundable, except in case of an error on our side or where the law requires it. If something goes wrong, contact us with your purchase reference.

5. Good conduct

Chat and exchanges between players must stay respectful. The following are forbidden: insults, harassment, hateful or discriminatory remarks, illegal or sexual content, scams, impersonation and unauthorised advertising.

Cheating is also forbidden: using automated programs, deliberately exploiting a bug or trying to access what is not yours.

You can report a message from the chat. We may hide a message, and suspend or delete an account that breaks these rules.

6. Public services: simplified information

AGBE introduces some Togolese public services (OTR, CNSS, AMU, CFE, land title) and everyday procedures. The game simplifies them: amounts, rates, delays and steps may differ from reality and change over time.

What the game shows is neither legal, tax nor financial advice, nor official information. For a real procedure, check with the organisation concerned.

7. Advertising, music and links

The game may show advertising from partners, presented as such.

Artists’ music is offered as previews and links to the official platforms; the works belong to their authors. External sites that AGBE links to are the responsibility of their publishers.

8. Your personal data

We use: your username, e-mail address, phone number, date of birth, language and, if you sign in with Google, your Google identifier; your game data; and your IP address and sign-in history, for security and fraud prevention.

This data is used only to run the game, secure your account and send you useful messages (such as a password reset). It is not sold. Your password is stored in an encrypted form that cannot be read back.

Cookies: AGBE only uses a session cookie to keep you signed in (and temporary cookies during a Google sign-in). Your preferences (language, graphics quality) stay on your device. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights: from Settings, you can export your data and delete your account. The account is then closed at once: nobody can sign in to it any more and your name no longer appears in the game. For security and fraud prevention (abuse, payment dispute, request from the authorities), your username, your character’s name, your phone, your e-mail, your Google ID, your date of birth and your IP addresses are kept separately, accessible only to the AGBE team, for one year after the deletion, then erased automatically — unless an investigation is under way. Accounting data (payments) is kept as long as the law requires. For any other request, contact us.

9. Changes to the game and to these terms

The game evolves: features may be added, changed or removed, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance. We do our best to keep it available, without being able to guarantee it at all times.

These terms may be updated; the date of the latest version is shown at the top of this page.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Togolese law. In case of disagreement, we first look for an amicable solution: write to us.
